Why is nobody talking about Nike (NKE)? This looks insanely cheap.

Am I the only one looking at Nike right now and wondering why nobody is talking about it?

Nike stock is down roughly 65-75% from its all-time highs depending on the timeframe you’re looking at, and it’s trading around levels not seen in over a decade.

Yes, I understand the bear case:

* Weak sales growth
* China continues to be a major problem
* Margins have been getting crushed
* Competition from Hoka, On, New Balance, Anta, Li Ning, etc.
* Investors are losing patience with the turnaround story

But this is still **Nike**.

We’re talking about one of the most recognizable brands on the planet with massive global distribution, billions in annual revenue, and a history of surviving multiple economic cycles.

What’s interesting is that despite all the negativity, many analysts still have price targets far above the current stock price. Some analyst averages are around the low $60s, implying significant upside from current levels.

The market seems to be pricing in a lot of bad news already:

* Stock near multi-year lows
* Sentiment is terrible
* Wall Street keeps talking about a “turnaround”
* Expectations are extremely low

Historically, some of the best long-term investments happen when everyone is focused on what is going wrong instead of what could happen if the company simply returns to normal execution.

I’m not saying Nike is guaranteed to recover, but at these levels the risk/reward looks interesting to me.

**What am I missing?**

Is Nike a value opportunity that people are overlooking, or is the market correctly pricing in a long-term decline of the brand?
