You know, I'm something of an investor myself, and today I checked in on one of my Wendy's franchises I'm part owner of.
I bought 700 shares at $7.24 and another 777 shares at $7.58 over the last however many weeks. Today I wanted to check in at my local Wendy's to see how my investment is doing.
Frosties now have more options than just chocolate or vanilla! I might have bought more shares initially if I'd have known. They have a cookie dough, brownie, banana, caramel, OREO, and a few more - with either chocolate or vanilla!
Except tonight they were out of vanilla options. I asked if that's because so many people are ordering vanilla, and the nice gentleman told me it's because they're out of vanilla. So I'm going to assume that's because so many regards are doing DD that they ran out. Which tells me that SALES ARE UP ams they can't even keep up!
There were two cars in front of me, but in the time it took to scroll through a few TikToks I was at the window. My chocolate cookie dough fusion was served up quick once I was there, and I was on my way.
My Frosty is pretty delicious, with a very high ratio of cookie dough chunks to ice cream frosty bites. In fact it's sooo good I might have to freeze some to eat tomorrow. Next time I'll get a medium, or maybe even a small. Huge value for the money.
One other point here! The menu advertised it as $5.99 but my total with tax was $5.93. As a consumer I love this little glitch in the pricing. As an investor I feel there was a little more money that could have been made by charging the prices displayed.
A very productive check on my investment, and I think I might buy another 700 shares tomorrow, depending on the price per share when I wake up.
And before anyone asks! The dumpster area appeared busy with two employees nearby.. One was hitting a vape and the other was throwing a bag of trash in the dumpster. Both seemed happy to be working at such a fine establishment, and gave me no reason to believe the business by the dumpster couldn't be profitable even if the stock fails to perform.
All in all - I like this stock.
