As I screen for undervalued companies, it seems there's a sweet spot right around $500m market cap. Last month I stumbled upon Miller Industries (ticker: MLR), the dominant player in tow truck systems. Low debt. Low multiples. Cyclical compression. Growth drivers: international expansion, military contracts, robotics (FWIW).
Roast me.
Last year I did a similar exercise and bought:
TK (+64% total return including a $1 per share special dividend)
ASC (+24%)
A bit higher market cap, I also bought NOG last month.
Another interesting marker for overlooked value: number of comments on Yahoo Finance...
MLR: 60
TK: 320
ASC: 300
