How can a stock be a 100% buy with 40% short interest? Can someone explain ONDS?

Been digging into ONDS and the numbers don’t add up in an interesting way. On one hand, the stock has picked up multiple Buy/Strong Buy ratings recently (Needham, Stifel, Lake Street all reaffirming Buy in the past couple weeks), consensus price targets sitting way above where it’s trading now, and there’s real news flow behind the bull case- the \~$875M DZYNE acquisition, a raised FY26 revenue guide to $525M+, and a steady stream of defense/counter-drone contract wins.

On the other hand, short interest has reportedly been sitting near record highs, and I keep seeing “bearish bets at record highs” headlines even as the stock catches bids on good news.

So genuinely trying to understand the disconnect. Is there something in the financials (still unprofitable, cash burn, reliance on contract timing) that the sell side is glossing over in their price targets?
