I’m beginning to see the potential usefulness of GEX, put walls, call walls, gamma flip. There’s a ton of services and a ton of threads about them, but I’m looking for opinions about their usefulness for somebody who primarily trades SPX and mostly 3-10 DTE. Since 60% or more of trading these days is 0DTE, I think advice is mostly geared towards that crowd. I’m looking for something to better inform my weekly positions.
Unusual Whales with Periscope is what I’m considering most. It appears that VS3D is likely the superior service, but at $300/mo it’s four times the cost. Not saying it might not be worth it, I’m just not sure it’s worth it for me and my needs.
Are all of these geared towards 0DTE and I’m just wasting my time? Or is there something useful for weekly traders vs daily traders.
