I do work in finance and studied business and finance. Learned nothing in school about this stuff it’s all been self taught. Here is my approach.
A few things about my trading style:
\- I exclusively swing trade. I do not day trade (VG doesn’t even allow it)
\- I primarily trade equity options.
\- My strategy is heavily based on technical analysis.
\- The indicators I rely on most are moving averages, RSI, trend lines, and support/resistance levels.
\- I'm looking for momentum and trend continuation rather than trying to predict every intraday move.
\- Most of my trades last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
\- I don't use 0DTE contracts or chase every market move.
This year has obviously been a very favorable environment for my style of trading, and I don't expect market conditions to remain this forgiving forever. I've also had losing trades and periods where I was down significantly before recovering.
I'm not posting this as financial advice or claiming to have some secret strategy. This is simply what's worked for me.
Happy to answer questions about my process, risk management, technical analysis, or how I evaluate setups.
