eleven days of etf outflows. $1.6B just this week. what actually brings institutions back?
eleven consecutive days of etf outflows.
this week alone:
monday: -$112M
tuesday: -$369M
wednesday: -$800M
thursday: -$344M
total this week: -$1.6B
i've been thinking about what actually brings institutions back.
not oversold rsi. not recovering breadth.
those are retail signals.
normally institutions come back when:
macro shifts — fed pivots or signals cuts.
geopolitical risk clears — iran deal, trade war de-escalation, something structural.
price finds a level that looks cheap relative to their cost basis.
or simply: when the narrative changes and they need btc exposure again.
none of those have happened yet.
so we're in a waiting game.
technicals say oversold.
institutional flows say not yet.
what do you think brings them back?
positive news regarding the Iran conflict? any other news?
or just time and a lower price?
