Why don’t all new crypto tokens just unlock all their tokens when they first come out ????

If they did that , there would be no selling pressure from the get go . What’s the purpose of holding tokens for years and many unlocks when they can just unlock all of them from the start ? There would be no selling pressure since all tokens are in circulation…..can anyone explain this to me ?
