Do traders need a better way to catch their own bad decision patterns?

I have been thinking about something that probably happens to a lot of people who trade. You look at the chart, the indicators, the volume, the news, the setup, everything. The data says one thing, your gut says something else, and suddenly the hardest part is not analysis, it is deciding whether you are about to make the same mistake you made before. I wonder if there is a better way for traders to track past decisions, similar setups, emotional state, maybe even things like heart rate or stress level, and then look back at patterns before entering a trade. Like, if I was in a similar setup 20 times before and I usually made bad calls when I was anxious or overconfident, I would want something to warn me before I repeat it again. Curious if anyone here already tracks this manually or thinks this kind of decision journal would actually help.
