NVDA News dropped about 8 minutes before the 3:58 fire and SPX started dumping hard. I killed the entry. The move already happened.
Before anyone says it: no, this isn't "the bot's job." The edge is buying cheap premium BEFORE a move. By 3:58 the move was already in and vol was jacked. I'd be paying panic prices for a straddle that needs the chaos to keep going another two minutes. Different trade. Worse trade.
Rule going forward so you can hold me to it: big news inside the last 10 minutes = skip. Quiet tape = bots fire, hands off. That's it.
