DELL up 250% since the first Trump endorsement and I genuinely don't know how to feel about it
So I've been holding a little DELL and today it popped 9% to around $429. Great for my port, but the reason it moved is what's messing with me.
The pop lined up with another public shout-out from Trump, third one now. Stock's up 250% since the first one back in Feb. And apparently the account bought in around $126 a share before all of this kicked off.
Now the fundamentals aren't fake. Pulled the chart on moomoo and the numbers are honestly nuts, AI server revenue up 757% yoy to $16.1B, total revenue $43.8B, backlog sitting at $51.3B. Analysts tossing out $700 targets.
But Dell also landed a $9.7B DoD contract, and the same family dumped billions into those Trump accounts. Like at what point does the president openly owning and promoting a stock that keeps winning federal contracts turn into an actual problem?
idk. Am I overthinking a green day here? Anyone else holding this and feeling kinda weird about the why?
