Similarly to previous times in history when we overbuilt and over dedicated capital to develop infrastructure (phone lines, railroads, internet...) the developers of such infrastructure ended up not having great returns due to fierce competition.
If this was to happen with AI. Who could benefit from cheap AI?
Which sectors? Or even companies?
We can say that healthcare, financial analysis, data analysis etcetera. If everybody uses it then who is actually outcompeting?
Which sectors could benefit from such computing power even as a byproduct that is not commonly highlighted.
Any thoughts?
Edit: I can think that cheaper AI may allow access to disruption to certain emerging markets sectors.
