Bial Failed with same mechanism as GANX, but GANX went up on an IND?

If you are unaware, GANX has a GCase program very similar to Bial, for Parkinson's disease. Some, including me, were waiting to hear back from Bial's results on whether or not to invest in GANX. Unfortunately Bial failed, and basically said the drug did nothing - no secondary endpoints worked either.

Now GANX yesterday said they started an IND, and the stock somehow traded $20million and went up a lot? But I guess GANX investors are unaware of BIAL...? GANX has about 3 months of cash left, so will have to raise money for a trial that looks extremely likely to fail.
