metalcore is starting to look less vague

“AI for mining” can sound pretty vague.

that is why i like when there are actual things to track.

NovaRed says MetalCore’s early-access cohort is capped at 1,000 users, with 920 already registered and 80 spots left before the waitlist closes.

the dataset is now above 4 million records.

that includes geochemistry records, oil and gas well records, deposit records, geothermal records, BC mineral title data, MINFILE records, magnetic anomalies, satellite scenes and geophysical survey data.

for CSE: NRED, this sits beside the Wilmac exploration story.

Wilmac is still early-stage. no resource, no mine, no production. MetalCore does not change that, and it does not replace fieldwork, geophysics, drilling or assays.

but the platform is becoming easier to evaluate.

the next things i’d watch are pretty simple: whether users actually engage with it, whether outside groups find it useful, and whether MetalCore-generated targets can be validated on the ground.

TLDR: the mining side still needs exploration results, but the data side now has a few measurable points instead of just an AI label.
