Hey folks,
I want to share a product - '**Clear Thesis' -** that I built for long-term investors to help with stock research process. I know product posts are sensitive here, especially with the recent wave of AI/vibe-coded tools and strict rules around self-promotion. So to be clear and upfront: The product is free to use, and I’m posting mainly to get honest feedback from investors who actually research individual stocks.
*What does it do?*
**ClearThesis** **gives you a clear and structured investment thesis for any US stock.**
You can try it out here: [https://www.clearthesis.ai](https://www.clearthesis.ai)
I’ve been investing in individual stocks for around 15 years, and this started as something I wanted for my own research process.
The main problem I face is that despite so much data and opinions all around, it's hard to build full understanding of the stock in a clear way. I want to get full picture of the company - what it does, how it makes money, it's financial health, growth drivers, valuation etc - in one single read in a calm interface. Most tools I tried just throw data and charts without helping build a deep understanding. I have to research for stocks across scattered sources (which I enjoy, but it's still takes hours and even days sometimes). And then even after buying a stock, tracking the thesis over time is a separate time consuming task.
So I built Clear Thesis to help with these. It gathers information across dozens of sources and generates a structured investment thesis for any US stock to help understand the business, valuation, and investment case in one in-depth read. You can also follow stocks to get monthly updates to know if the thesis is still on track or going off track.
A few sample thesis reports:
* **Micron:** [https://www.clearthesis.ai/thesis/mu](https://www.clearthesis.ai/thesis/mu)
* **Nvidia:** [https://www.clearthesis.ai/thesis/nvda](https://www.clearthesis.ai/thesis/nvda)
* **Microsoft:** [https://www.clearthesis.ai/thesis/msft](https://www.clearthesis.ai/thesis/msft)
**Every thesis covers:**
* What the business does
* How it makes money
* Revenue and earnings drivers
* Financial health
* Moat / competitive position
* Management quality
* Key risks
* Valuation assumptions
* Fair value estimate
* 5-year revenue, earnings, and fair value projection
* What needs to be monitored going forward
You can access thesis for 500+ covered stocks instantly. For remaining stocks, you can generate a one-time thesis that takes 2-3 mins each.
*Why not use just Chatgpt or Gemini?*
Using AI has helped a lot in my own research process (I use Chatgpt, Gemini and Claude code for research). Though I find the quality of output totally depends on my inputs and it's generally shallow until I ask detailed follow-ups. The data can also be stale in many cases. Most importantly though, I feel it's not the best interface to absorb the information deeply or track stocks for ongoing monitoring.
Reports in ClearThesis is not just a simple prompt response. It's basically a multi-step process where one agent does the research and analysis, another one does the valuation, another one writes it, and one agent verifies, cross-checks and edit the report for accuracy and clarity. The end outcome is a clear report that's more visual, intuitive, and easy to follow.
No signup is needed to read the full reports. Signup is optional only if you want to save/follow stocks or use the dashboard for undervalued list.
I’d appreciate honest feedback from members of this sub:
* Does the thesis format feel useful?
* What parts are most helpful? which feel generic/least credible?
* Is this something you would come back to?
* What would make this more useful for your own research process?
I’m trying to build something that helps long-term investors understand companies faster and track their stocks over time, so your feedback would be genuinely helpful.

**EDIT 1:** Thanks everyone for fantastic feedback. Really encouraged by both positive and constructive feedback. I love it that many people are using it and sharing it with their friends/colleagues. At any point in the day, there are hundreds of users globally who are actively researching stocks on the website. That's very fulfilling for me to see.
I'm grateful for the engagement by this community. I'll continue to improve this and make it more reliable as model quality improves. Will share updates here if there is meaningful progress in future. For those who want to stay in touch or follow the progress, you can sign-up on the website. I send out regular updates including weekly undervalued stock thesis. Thanks again!
**EDIT 2:** In last 36 hours, users have generated over 1000+ new reports for stocks we don't cover and it's continuing to go up. It costs everytime a new report is generated, and while I was prepared to incur some costs, I didn't expect so much interest for less popular stocks. To control the costs from further escalating, I need to enforce some soft limits on how many reports can be generated. Of course it will still be free to use and generate more reports.
