Many people eye Netflix recently due to huge price decline lately, people see huge growing profits and potential of a big recovery like this stock did in the past.
What I see it's a company that is worth more than Disney and Nintendo combine, you might not like Disney, in case of Nintendo they're doing things the right way imho though and I think to myself will Netflix really be the biggest entertainment company long term? maybe it's me but I barerly can tell what type of brands Netflix have created, it usually reminds me of a mass market producer without any particular hit.
So I wonder, is there any reason if I want a long term 10+ years portfolio to choose Netflix over Disney and Nintendo? It's hard to imagine that Disney which is the most comparable competitor fell that much that they cannot offer what Netflix does? will it be story like Sony vs Microsoft? at the height Sony was x2 smaller than Microsoft and now they're x20 smaller, will it be the same for DIS and NTFLX?
