I've been noticing that a lot of swing setups lately aren't respecting the previous day's volume or candle structure. Even stocks that look technically sound are failing to follow through after entry.
For those of you who take delivery-based swing trades, are you experiencing the same thing?
My checklist usually includes:
Important dates/events
RVOL on the daily chart
VCP pattern
Hourly chart for liquidity grabs before entry
Despite following these, many trades still aren't playing out as expected.
What am I missing? I'd really like to hear from experienced swing traders about what they've changed in the current market environment or what additional factors they consider before taking a trade.
