The longer I invest, the bigger the pot gets. My portfolio is currently at 400% of my initial investment, which means any win or loss is now four times larger than it used to be.
Because of this, I am feeling more stressed. The numbers have gotten much larger, and I am just not used to them yet.
I've tried to deal with it by diversifying so that, on average, the price fluctuations per stock don't look as massive. However, on days with sector rotation or market distribution, the stress comes right back.
Have you experienced the same thing, and how did you get over it?
