From my perspective, the market is offsides. The odds seem to point toward Iran playing hardball, which would give Trump the green light to use US ground troops for the first time since the war’s beginning….acceptable reason in the court of public opinion, if I were running a White House PR campaign. Anything that might go wrong gets blamed on NATO.
My point: expect extreme volatility next week.
