Has anyone here ever actually bought a stock because of a YouTube channel’s recommendation?

I’m curious if anyone has found a finance/investing YouTube channel that they genuinely trust, or at least one that has provided useful stock ideas that were worth researching further. I don’t mean blindly copying someone’s trades, but more like: you watched a video, the person made a solid case for a company, you did your own research afterward, and then you ended up buying the stock.

If yes, which YouTube channel or channels were they?

I’ve been trying to find some investing content that is actually worth watching, but a lot of finance YouTube feels very clickbaity. So many channels use extremely “in your face” thumbnails, dramatic titles, or claims aimed at teenagers like “this is the next 100x stock” or “buy this before it explodes.” That kind of content makes it hard to know who is actually doing serious analysis and who is just farming views.

I’m mostly interested in channels that explain their reasoning clearly, talk about the risks, look at fundamentals, and don’t act like every stock is a guaranteed winner. Bonus points if they revisit past picks and are honest when they were wrong.

So, have you ever bought a stock after discovering it from YouTube? And are there any channels you think are genuinely useful rather than just hype?
