For people here who sell butterflies and/or condors (iron or otherwise), at what dte will you close or not open a new position due to too high of a gamma risk? I'd like to stick to monthly expiries for liquidity (as I don't really trade indices), but am trying to figure out at what dte to switch to the next month, trying to balance theta decay with gamma risk. My first impression for now is that 60+ dte is probably too high and 10 dte or less is probably too low.
