I have 5 portfolio models - a mix of All Stocks (basically IWM-universe) and QB500 (SPY-universe) - 12 models total. Normally, one of the portfolio model will have 5-20 picks, and that's what I would focus on, combining them was just to show how dried up it is today.
They are trained on slightly different indicators, different timespans and built for slightly different regimes (conservative, bull etc) When all of them go quiet at the same time across different universes and parameters, I try not to force it. Looks good today.

The middle section shows picks per day. You can see what a normal day looks like vs. today on the right edge.
The equity curve at the bottom assumes 1% per pick on every trade - it's highly skewed since there is no filter on how many picks, main point was how many picks were made.
