Maybe write a list of your MAG7 from best investment to worst. I really have no clue, but I think I would do it like this.
1. Google
2. Nvidia
3. Amazon
4. Microsoft
5. Meta
6. Apple
7. Tesla
I’m totally unsure though, they all have their own moats, strengths, and weaknesses. I believe in the MAG 7 dominance continuing, and I want to add a small slice to my portfolio. I’m seeking 10% or greater annual gains.
Google is compelling to me because of YouTube - as a gen Z I never really use TV or even other streaming services. The specialized and niche content is just so valuable, and I think it can compete with TV very well. Plus Google Cloud, the TPUs, Gemini.
But Amazon just has insane amounts of revenue, and it has a crazy network. I like Twitch but that can’t really compete with YouTube, and that’s a tiny fraction of revenue. Prime is a sticky ecosystem.
Apple seems highly priced, but it’s also very compelling. It’s hard for many people to escape the Apple product family. I know I enjoy my iPhones and Airpods.
