But what does that mean in a world where it is unsafe to be a child? </p><p>We know that <a href="https://thecrux.substack.com/p/what-is-the-proper-response-if-ice">ICE is locking up children.</a> We see children watching the government <a href="https://thecrux.substack.com/p/if-ice-can-interrupt-a-church-service?utm_source=publication-search">chase their parents through the woods at church services</a>. And children across the America are now prepared for an active shooter. This is the world that we created, have accepted as normal and now some of us vote for, justify and defend.
