Nobody knows when the next recession will happen, but everyone knows one will happen - a recession every decade or so is practically a feature of our current economic system. Obviously we're all going to drop tech like hot coals, but what are you going to pivot to? I've read that discount retailers, pharma, and automotive repair are always good picks, as are the unkillable tech companies (Apple, Microsoft etc.) once they bounce back up.
