Been seeing the crypto card debate flare up on CT again and most of it misses the point. Every few months the same topic shows up - someone asks which card has the best cashback, forty replies argue about tier requirements, nobody actually answers whether they use the card.
Tried a few cards over the past years. Binance card still lives in my wallet, but I use it maybe once or twice a month. Nothing wrong with it, just never became my default. The rewards look decent until you factor in how often you're actually hitting the spend thresholds to qualify for them.
Ended up defaulting to the Nехо card because I'm not liquidating every time I tap.
The thing nobody talks about is how much the app experience drives actual usage. Cashback percentages are easy to compare in a spreadsheet. Whether you reach for the card on autopilot or consciously decide to use it is a different question entirely. I've had cards with better reward structures that I stopped using within two months because the experience was annoying enough to break the habit.
Also worth mentioning: the collateral and staking requirements for some of these are quietly significant. People see the headline rate and don't clock how much they need to lock up to actually get there. That math deserves more attention than it gets in these threads.
So, which crypto cards do you use on a daily basis?
