Utility Communities Should Unite Against Memecoins & Shitcoins

I’m basically an HBAR maxi, but I still have deep respect for the hardworking teams behind real projects like XLM, ALGO, ADA, XRP etc. Each of these projects is innovating in its own way, but they share a common trait: years of dedicated hard work and real-world utility.

Tribalism has always been part of crypto—it makes sense. When you do your due diligence, invest, and believe in a project, you naturally want it to succeed. Shilling and competition have always been part of the game.

But lately, something powerful is happening. Even the projects themselves are starting to work together. Look at the **DeRec Alliance**, a collaboration between Hedera, Algorand, Cardano, and Ripple. They’re fighting together for the same goal: advancing real blockchain utility.
(Really cool alliance btw, check it out: [DeRec Alliance](https://derecalliance.org/cardano-developer-input-output-and-hedera-join-the-derec-alliance-as-final-founding-members-alongside-algorand-foundation-hashgraph-ripple-and-xrpl-labs/))

So to the communities of HBAR, XLM, ALGO, ADA, XRP, and other utility-driven projects—let’s stand united. Shitcoins and memecoins are draining capital, trust, and attention from real innovation. If we work together, we can educate new investors and shield them from scams that hurt the entire industry.

I have a good feeling about this subreddit—seems like there are actually people here who think critically. Let’s make a difference.

Have a great day, utility fam. Our time will come. We’ll shine when the hype dies. ❤️
