After months of escalation, billions spent and nonstop threats, the situation is drifting back to where it was before the war. Iran still has leverage over Hormuz, the nuclear issue remains unresolved, and Tehran may now negotiate from a stronger position while oil markets remain exposed to the same geopolitical risk.
That is not victory.
That is paying a fortune to end up with the same problem.
