Hold Intel vs buying more SLS . I’m leaning greed, but have I’m not sure about my logic.
Greed, fear. I’m commenting to get advice and opinions.
Info:
Pertinent info: Both stocks held in Roth and SEP IRA accounts, so no taxable implications on these transactions. I’m 58, don’t “need” the money.
While I speculate that a major recession and corresponding market drop is coming, I don’t know when and could just be wrong. The majority of my retirement funds are in a TSP, about as safe as investments in the stock market can get. I’m not buying more bonds, than what the TSP holds.
What do ya’ll think? Sell some INTEl and double down on SLS?
Edit: quick math 100shares sold Intel at $80 per share priofit=$8000, so SLS 1000 shares at $7 would need to trade between $15 and $20 to earn back the $8000(as profit)….so maybe not the best idea- as I have no idea, even IF the future outcome of the 3rd trial is positive, of what SLS would be worth. Speculation on SLS value is all over the place. $12 at the low end, beyond $30 seems to be in the outlier territory.
Thanks in advance for taking your valuable time to read this far and for any feedback.
Different path: Sell the Intel and SLS and take my $40,000 profit, dump it in VOO
