I see fillings of billionaires portfolios on twitter, it seems like they are creating their own etf. They put a couple billion in the top names along with lots of other stocks. I know they also have family offices to manage there holdings.
What I don’t get is why don’t they just slowly vwap it into Vt for example. I know it has .07 fee so for every 100 million they are paying 70k in gains.
I don’t think the fees outweigh having a simple portfolio that beats inflation over time over having to constantly manage their holdings or hire people to do so.
I’m also not addressing founders like bezos for example who have a highly concentrated position in one company they created. More so billionaires who aren’t founders and decide to invest like I described above.
