$NASA ETF might quietly be one of the most interesting asymmetric plays going into a possible SpaceX IPO.
Trading at $35 as of today
Current holdings include:
\- SpaceX (via SPV)
\- Rocket Lab
\- Palantir
\- Intuitive Machines
\- Redwire
\- Planet Labs
\- AST SpaceMobile
\- defense + satellite infrastructure names
The big piece:
NASA currently holds \~82,385 SpaceX share equivalents valued around $53.5M, implying a SpaceX valuation near $1.54T based on recent transactions.
If SpaceX IPOs:
\- retail probably gets tiny allocation
\- hype could be massive
\- investors will hunt for liquid SpaceX proxies
That’s where this gets interesting.
The ETF ticker itself is literally “NASA”.
That alone makes it memeable.
Leadership team includes former Global X / ProShares executives — people who already know how to scale thematic ETFs during hype cycles.
This is NOT a pure SpaceX ETF.
But if SpaceX becomes the biggest IPO narrative in years, this could become one of the main retail flow vehicles tied to the space economy.
Small AUM + strong narrative + SpaceX exposure + retail-friendly ticker = potentially explosive setup.
Positioned with Nov 2026 calls. Risky trade, but the asymmetry is obvious.
