I was talking to others today and mentioned the all time highs we are at and a few people said: "the rich get richer" and others said 'how does that affect the average person"?
I simply don't get it. a lot of jobs offer 401ks. almost every young person, someone told them about retirement plans. it's the one thing older people always tell the younger generation: "I wish I started sooner".
and who's rich? I mean you can buy a share of NVDA today for $225. KO is $79. skip eating out 2 times and bingo, you just bought a couple shares. are you rich because you bought stocks?
we all have to start somewhere. seriously, you can buy fractional shares. do people not know this? stop buying Starbucks and spend that $20 on 1/10 of an AMZN share.
be disciplined. keep doing it. buy more when you can. youre not rich but after time and when the market hits all time highs, you will be better off than you were when you started.
you buy stocks. youre not rich.
