I stopped tracking 20+ stocks and my trading got better… curious how others approach this

I used to keep a pretty big watchlist thinking more coverage = more opportunities

NVDA, TSLA, AMD, META, QQQ… basically jumping between charts all day

at the time it felt productive, but looking back I was mostly reacting to noise and forcing trades

lately I’ve been doing the opposite

been trading a long time, but this is something I only recently fixed

just focusing on a small group of names and waiting until something actually looks clean

way fewer trades, but my decisions feel a lot more intentional now

still refining things, but this shift alone made a noticeable difference for me

curious how others here approach it

do you scan a wide list, or stick to a few names and really go deep on them?
