DD: $CMPS Compass Pathways is developing COMP360 synthetic psilocybin for depression and PTSD. In phase 3 large population trials for treatment resistant depression, they have shown better results both in efficacy and durability of effect than spravato, johnson and Johnson’s nearly $2B/year drug. Other psychedelic treatments are coming to market, some of which may be more effective, but I believe compass will be first (Based on trial timing and their own guidance).
🥭 signed EO Saturday directing FDA to provide priority vouchers to appropriate psychedelic drug candidates that have breakthrough therapy designation (CMPS COMP360 has this). FDA commissioner said “we have three applications that are imminent and we’ll be issuing vouchers next week”. My calls cover this week.
