I just watched Trump's speech and it sounds like the US is escalating the war with Iran. This means oil supply will not get back to pre-war levels anytime soon. The additional bombings are likely to add risk to oil related assets both in Iran and to Iran's neighbors if Iran retaliates again.
Geopolitical instability causes more geopolitical instability. Other nations around the world are suffering economically because of the US's actions.
