So I started trying to buy US stocks even though I am not in the US and I didn’t want to go through a regular broker. I figured I’d try a crypto exchange and honestly it was way simpler than I expected. The confusing part was the fees because some places were crazy expensive and others barely charged anything. I found mgbaba which compares fees across platforms and it helped me a lot because I choose one that actually felt worth it. I even grabbed some fractional shares of Tesla and Nvidia just to test it out and so far everything works fine. Feels pretty good to finally get into US stocks without jumping through all the stress.
