A trading strategy, for example, consisting of three points, of which one point is practising in a trading game
Yeah I know the title sounds like a textbook but hear me out lol.
I kept losing money because I'd read about a strategy, get excited, and immediately try it with real cash. Dumb. So I forced myself to make a simple 3-step thing:
1. Pick ONE setup and stick to it for the week. No jumping around like a squirrel.
2. Practice it in a trading game first. Found this thing called[ Trading Game](https://tradinggame.com/trading-simulator/) \- you get $10k fake money but real market data. There's even an AI coach that tells you "bro why did you enter there" basically. It's humbling lol.
3. Only then - small real money. If I'm consistent in the sim for a few days, I take it to my real account. Two losses and I'm out for the day, back to step 2.
I still make dumb mistakes but at least now they're free.
What about you? Do you practice at all or just send it with small size?
