My first panic post ever! Yay!!
But seriously... This is the first time I've encountered this kind of uncertainty in the market, since taking over management of my own retirement portfolio. I was forced into an early retirement at the start of the pandemic, therefore seeking growth from the 403b rollover, while treading carefully around the edges to preserve some defense against major crash. Over the past 12 months I've made adjustments, but "geopolitical concerns" at home and abroad, have blurred the picture tremendously. In 2008, I took a hit on some real estate I was holding, but I did not feel confused about the market, or how to move forward. In the interest of discussion, what are your instincts and what plays are you making for retirement accounts right now? Probably more interested to hear from folks also in their late 60's like me, but welcome all perspectives. Grab a coffee or a beer whatever, let's talk.
