Why do some people still firmly believe the stock market will continue to rise? Some concerns about the current market

The Iran situation is an open secret everyone knows the Strait of Hormuz is the red line, but the other side has made it clear: if you push them, they're taking everyone down with them. That's not a conspiracy. You can scream:bull market forever! But the numbers don't lie: after the worst crash in history, it took 25 years just to get back to even

Now we've still got those tariff cudgels hanging over us, and on top of that, we just threw an energy crisis grenade into the mix. If oil really takes off, everyone's getting smoked

Let's look at our country. Credit markets are shaky as hell, and the whole financial system still hasn't recovered from the last two punches it took. The dollar's holding steady for now, but if the government has to step in and bail everyone out, how long do you honestly think it's going to last?

So here's what I don't get: why do so many people still think this market's heading to the moon? Where's that confidence coming from? Is there any real meat on the bone, or is everybody just reading from the same script?

Maybe the big players don't even have a choice anymore. The script's already written, and they're just following their marks

It makes me think of that old saying: Trees don't grow to the sky

God, I hope I'm wrong.
