I’ve bought stocks that I researched to the extreme and lost -50%, like PINS
In other times, I’ve bought stocks just because it would be silly not to. Despite what the headlines told me.
For example,
In 2022, the Biden administration shut off GPU sales to China and $NVDA was tanking.
I bought shares at $150-200 (pre-split) and sold at $800
Another one was META, bought at $100's and sold at $600's
These businesses were structurally mispriced and I took advantage.
Sometimes it’s simple as that. No need to go into a rabbit hole, just look what’s in front of you
