Forgive me if this is a dumb question but I only just noticed it today.
I have two accounts with Fidelity, one is a traditional IRA that I rolled over an old 401(k) into 20ish years ago, and the other is a Roth that I opened more recently to put after-tax money into. Not my main retirement fund, more just stock market play money.
Anyway, I have a couple duplicate stocks between the two accounts. In the traditional IRA they have been regularly paying dividends, but those same stocks in the Roth (which I have owned for over a year) have not paid any dividends at all. Why would this be?
