Since we’re talking about biotechs lately I’ve been dragging my feet on making this post.
This is the CEO (KabirNath, the stupid bot would not let me post his name) he was Senior Managing Director of global pharmaceuticals at Otsuka Pharmaceutical.
He left to guide Compass Pathways a biotech using synthetic psilocybin to treat treatment resistant depression and recently a study for ptsd.
I’m not going to hit you with chat gpt slop but 2026 - 2027 is make it or break it for $CMPS.
The only drug currently on the market to combat TRD is Spravato, a JJ ketamine therapy.
Based on 2024 performance, Spravato is on pace to exceed $1 billion in annual revenue for the full year.
The difference is $CMPS has longer therapy sessions but significantly less visits than Spravato. It’s doing more on less.
$CMPS is sitting at 560 mil market cap, with fda approval I see this going anywhere between 2-5 billion.
Timeline
Q1 2026 Milestone: The company is scheduled to disclose 9-week data from the Comp-006 trial alongside 26-week durability data from Comp-005.
Q3 2026 Milestone: Investors are awaiting the full 26-week results for Comp-006, which will serve as the final pillar for a planned New Drug Application (NDA) filing.
Thesis
If you have balls for the biotech space this could be a multi bagger.
If they fail the FDA approval it goes to 0.
