Are AI investing assistants actually useful yet, or still mostly a novelty?
I've been seeing more investing platforms roll out AI assistants lately, and I’m genuinely undecided on whether they’re actually helpful or just a shiny feature. Most of the ones I’ve tried before felt like glorified FAQs, fine when you’re brand new, but not something you’d keep using once you understand the basics.
I recently came across one that actually looks at your own portfolio and gives context around what you’re holding, which felt more interesting. But I’m still unsure whether that kind of tool adds long-term value or just feels useful at first. Are AI assistants in investing apps something you actually use, or do they end up ignored after the novelty wears off?
