I have seen some talk of MSFT being undervalued. I am here to tell you the opposite.
Who am I? Just some employee of this company and let me tell you, we are losing on absolutely all fronts. Leadership has bet it all on AI, wisely so, the problem is not the decision but the execution. The guys they got in to run this thing are beyond incompetent, they would have been better off with literally no one.
People will point to cloud, but that is a mature platform unlikely to change much of anything, windows has been dying for about 15 years now, office suite is facing significant headwinds both politically and the question of when software goes to 0 what exactly is the value of excel? Compliance? And xbox? Lmao.
The morale of the employees is as low as you can imagine, people are just shuffling pieces around waiting for the axe to fall, no one is around to innovate or do anything of realy use, it is a place that is gloomy and knows it has lost.
In my opinion there is 0 chance this company will be one of the top 5 most valuable companies in 2-5 years, absolutely none.
I may also be wrong, what do I know. I will say I have sold all my holding in MSFT a couple of months ago except for the stock bonuses I receive every quarter from now till I am laid off, in the vain hope we get one more bounce before a slow sad death.
