Found a great strategy for finding winners but struggling to find when to get out of the trades.
Basically I have found a scanner that works for me and I am getting pretty consistent wins but struggling to find the right exit point on them. For example I got in $EDIT at $1.39 on 2/14 and I sold on 2/18 @ $1.54 but it’s now at $2.00. I have had several lately like this that I got out of because I didn’t want to be “greedy” and end up losing money like in the past. Which has helped with maintaining and going positive. But being able to make an extra 10-50% on a trade is huge and adds up really quickly.
Edited to add it’s all based on large volume going in but not a lot of movement. Pretty simple strategy I can’t post pics so kinda hard to show you. Just look at stocks with unusual volume and if they are up on the day but don’t have a lot of price movement. Also has to be a green candle for the day and even better if it’s a green candle for the day prior.
