I tuned into Squawk Box this morning to see whether there was any indication by Joe's tone that he caught wind of yesterday's post here that was deeply critical of him. Instead, he started the program by saying that Andrew had a "big birthday" today, near 50. That after 50 things "start going south" and Andrew is at his "nadir" (which he used incorrectly.) Joe went on to say that at this age, Andrew will be forced to adopt a "more mature" point of view, moving away from his "bleeding heart" tendencies. So, first of all, fascinating point. That a decline in operating ability leads to conservatism. No argument here! But just another example of Joe's bullying and a great example of conservative hypocrisy. The whining about how progressives don't hear or respect them and they are just offering a balanced view. Then, of course, at the first opportunity trying to snuff out the balance that they have been crying about endlessly. The fact that they can't see this inconsistency in logic, among thousands of others, speaks to that mental decline from which Joe and other dumbass conservative boomers suffer. By the way, I am 50.
