In February tech has largely been getting slaughtered, so I thought I’d zoom us all out to new years when these are the top 15 stocks hyped on Reddit to add to their portfolios.
Almost every single one of these stocks, except for GOOG and MU, are significantly down from their 2026 start.
We can take away a couple things. 1) reddit sentiment weakens so fast after a couple of red weeks; clearly most retail investors dont have high conviction or do proper diligence. 2) Redditors fail to follow a buying plan, if they had one to begin with, when their favorite stock dips 20-30%. Institutions on the other hand, force selling action on retailers, then buy at their planned price! That’s why they win out. I for one, am buying the stocks I have high conviction on during this dip.
