I don’t understand how trading after hours works. If I buy a stock after markets close and my app only allows a limit order, which says it will be queued. Does this mean that it’s in line to make the buy at whatever price it is at that moment? If this is the case, how do I check the price? How do I confirm this is a smart play? My app and all other outlets I can find only show the price as of the day prior at close. Thanks in advance.
