York Space Systems (YSS) IPO launches tomorrow, they are already established in the space market and HUGE upside potential.
Tomorrow YSS starts trading, maybe at open but if they get flooded with premarket orders from IPO commitments it might get delayed a few hours. This isn't some brand new no name startup trying to cash in on the current space hype. They are a defense contractor and they already have some serious contracts and a backlog of orders.
Let's do some financials quick. 2025 revenue $387.8M, up sharply from $253.5M in 2024. EBITDA $7.8M. IPO price is $30 - $34 per share with 16,000,000 being offered that puts them at roughly $4 billion valuation.
Now, why should you give a fuck about this company. WTF do they even do? They design, build, launch, and operate military grade satellites at scale. They are the factory the brain and the operator for satellites the US military relies on. York builds standardized satellite “platforms” the same way Boeing builds aircraft families. They design the satellite bus (the spacecraft itself), manufacture it in high volume, integrate payloads (sensors, comms, missile-tracking hardware), handle launch coordination, and then operate the satellites in orbit using their own software and ground stations.
They specializes in proliferated LEO constellations, meaning hundreds of satellites, launched fast, replaced every 5 to 6 years, cheap enough to lose some without crippling the system. They currently have a backlog for 107 spacecraft which is worth $642 million.
They do this faster and at roughly half the cost of traditional defense primes like Lockheed or Northrop. They also deeply embedded with missile defense and Golden Dome.
So this company is already a big player, and only a $4 billion valuation (currently). RKLB has a market cap currently of $40 billion. York should easily be a $20 billion company on the low end estimate. Personally I think should be higher but I'm obviously biased.
I'm in for 12,000 shares with pre IPO commitment ($408k if it hits at $34). No matter the direction the stock takes, I'll be adding more over time.
TL;DR: Major space defense contract going public tomorrow. Space hype is hot, and they are already very established. Potential multi bagger.
