Meta beats on top, bottom lines, gives stronger-than-expected forecast

Meta reported fourth-quarter earnings on Wednesday after the bell. Here’s how the company did, compared with estimates from analysts polled by LSEG:

* **Revenue**: $59.89 billion vs. $58.59 billion estimated

The company said fourth-quarter sales rose 24% year-over-year.

Meta said that fourth-quarter daily active people came in at 3.58 billion, in line with Wall Street estimates.
